An exemplar of our Australian designs, this Specht is a novel exploration of espresso machine materiality. At the heart of the Linea Micra lies a choice that remains rare in the realm of luxury: woven kangaroo leather. This natural, sustainable material is lighter, yet stronger than conventional leather. These qualities and its distinctive texture have earned it an outstanding reputation among craftsmen.

Patiently woven by hand and set in place around the machine's core, the alternating surface texture invites touch - a tactile experience that distinguishes the Woven Kangaroo-leather Specht from almost every other home espresso machine.

Building on this foundation of woven leather, brilliant 24-carat gold gilds our signature floating cup rail, wands, gauge bezels, and fasteners. Gold-encrusted rings and fleur-de-lis faces differentiate the solid oak steam knobs from the chocolate-brown body. These touchpoints have endured our aging process, drawing the figured grain pattern to the fore.

Soft blue gauges offer a moment of visual respite amidst the contrasting brown and gold. Each Woven Kangaroo-leather machine is hand-crafted in our studio in Melbourne, Australia - a city at the heart of international coffee culture.

As La Marzocco’s most compact espresso machine, the Linea Micra brings genuine café-grade extraction home: dual boilers for simultaneous brewing and steaming, a saturated group head that ensures thermal stability, and PID temperature control offering precision to a tenth of a degree.
